I see lot of people criticizing shrink wrapping, but I have barely seen any shrinkwrapping being actually commited for years, how so ?

It seems to me like a lot of people has seen the 3 same images of a shrinkwrapped cat, swan and hypopotame, and use them to go on an "actually, dinosaurs are misrepresented and here are modern animals if depicted the same way haha I am so smart", without being aware that of the current state of paleoart and that shrinkwrapping have been criticised and burried for decades. It seems also that there is some confusion between shrink-wrapping and mistake about the outer shape of an animal and which part of its skeleton would likely be appearant from outside, some works being catalogued as shrinkwrapping tho they're depicting an animal that is "thin" like any animal can be after a periode of difficult access to food. To which extant is shrinkwrapping actually done today ?
