Fresno Crime still like the y2k /90s?

I found a studio down College st and Divisidero. The neighborhood is really cute, but I soon found out quick that College St. is notorious. Does anybody know if it’s STILLL that ghetto there or did the gentrification of Fresno successfully do the job?
